Shafer Staff Hero of the Month

Davon Jones

I’m Davon Jones and am currently pursuing a degree in social work at Morgan State University. My goal is to be able to work with troubled inner city youth. I absolutely love what I do at The Shafer Center and wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. The reason why I love it so much is because the kids we work with are so intelligent and amazing! Every kid is unique and gives you a different reason to fall in love with them. Each and everyday they’re teaching me something, while I’m teaching them.
