The Right Assistance Now Leads to Independence Later

bridge-jb_-3-jpgThe Shafer Center Bridge Program was developed to assist children with autism in schools, homes, or communities. The Bridge Blackboard Program supports children in schools – both public and private while the Bridge Building Program supports children in homes or communities. Both programs focus on giving children strategies to build their own bridges now and into adulthood. The intent is to teach the child how to align with environmental expectations but also to find their version of happiness and independence.
